Cal-Ore Life Flight/AirMedCare Network - Emergency Air Ambulance Coverage
What does an air ambulance membership cover?
Over 18% of medical claims were denied* by insurance carriers in the 2020 fiscal year. 25 million Americans are without health insurance whatsoever. Insurance plans may have a high deductible. Considering the average cost of air ambulance care is tens of thousands of dollars, the financial obligation for patients can be significant.
Even for those on Medicare, for example, the patient is generally responsible for 20% of the Medicare-approved billing amount after they’ve met their deductible. Only when transported by AMCN providers, the entire cost of treatment and transport is covered by membership. Other air ambulance membership offerings may cover a portion of your bill, require the member to be insured or limit the number of annual transports – AMCN has no limits of this nature.
Our membership covers the entire household (including non-biologically related residents) and does not restrict membership by age, health condition nor insurance status. We transport everyone in need of air ambulance care regardless of membership status or ability to pay, but our members have no financial risk associated with their transport.
Another benefit of buying air ambulance membership with AMCN is that our network is expansive – with over 320 bases in the U.S. Membership with AMCN extends your financial peace of mind across the country.
Offer coverage as an added benefit or as a payroll deduct - 21 cents a day.
