Qualifications
- Passion for working with kids and a desire to help them with being active, getting stronger, and having fun in a safe learning environment.
- Experience working with children in an athletic setting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive role model for children.
- Ability to communicate with co-workers, members, and guests in a professional manner.
- Customer Service oriented, with the ability to establish rapport with participants and their parents.
- Basic knowledge of gymnastics or parkour is helpful but not necessary.

Reports to: Gymnastics Program Director
Position Status: Non-Exempt, Part-Time (Schedule must include evenings and some weekends)
Essential Job Functions:
- Teach various gymnastics and/or NINJA classes and lead events, including open gyms and parties.
- Work on developing the program curriculum, come to class prepared with weekly lesson plan items, and work on retention of youths that participate in the program.
- Assist with communication to parents regarding upcoming events, billing needs, and other things related to their child.
- Build a community with all parents and students and help bring fun, new, and exciting ideas to the program.
- Help market the programs to members and the community.
- Keep all equipment neat and put away after use, and perform light housekeeping duties to complete weekly and monthly.
- Communicate problems/suggestions to your immediate supervisor in a timely manner.
- Assist the Gymnastics Program Director with assigned administrative tasks and work special events as assigned (i.e., performances, demonstrations).
- Attend staff meetings as necessary.
