HealthSPORT is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our Gymnastics Team. If you are a positive, energetic person who loves working with children and can work well in a team environment as well as communicate with parents, we would love to hear from you.

You will play a vital role in creating a fun, safe, and stimulating environment for young children. This team member will ensure the overall safety, health, and welfare of all individuals participating in our

Gymnastics Programs and using the HealthSPORT Gymnastics facilities. Duties include executing and providing quality instruction at all levels in a safe, positive environment, as well as the setup, cleanup, and breakdown of all programs, events, and activities.

If you love working with kids and have a passion for creating a positive impact, we'd love to hear from you! Gymnastics experience is not required but it is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Commitment to HealthSPORT's core values and focus.
• Experience working and interacting with young children.
• Familiarity with approved methods of problem-solving behavior for young children.
• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and clean/neat appearance.
• High level of creativity and a customer service mindset.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• Ability to communicate at a child's level and with parents about important issues related to their child.
• Enthusiastic, dependable, and able to work as part of a team and independently.
• Gymnastics, cheerleading, or other athletic background either as a participant or instructor is a plus.
• Ability to answer the phone with proper greeting and tone.

Reports to: Gymnastics Program Lead

Position Status: Non-Exempt, Part-Time (Schedule may include evenings, weekends & holidays)

Essential job functions:

• Create a fun, safe, motivating, and enjoyable environment while working with children and during youth parties.
• Teach various gymnastics classes and work on developing program curriculum.
• Keep Kids Cove, gymnastics area, and all other areas and equipment clean, sanitized, tidy, and organized on a regular basis.
• Ensure the safety of the children and monitor the facility, gym, equipment, and participants.
• Help build the program by assisting in outreach and follow-up with clients, prospects, and the community.
• Learn and follow proper emergency procedures.
• Learn about and keep current on all available programs and/or activities at HealthSPORT.
• Work on retention of youths that participate in the program.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to complete weekly and monthly tasks.
• Perform additional assignments as delegated by your immediate supervisor.
• Work special events (community events, special HealthSPORT programs, parties, performances, demonstrations).
• Attend meetings as requested.
• Communicate problems/suggestions to your immediate supervisor in a timely manner.
