Veteran's Day Tribute

The 25th Annual “Veterans Day Tribute” will be presented by The Fortuna Senior Center on Tuesday, November 11th, 2-4pm at the Veterans Memorial Building, 1426 Main St., Fortuna. 

The keynote speaker this year will be Enoch Ibbara who comes from a Texas family that has proud traditions of serving their country, going back many generations.  Enoch enlisted in the Navy during the Vietnam Conflict.  Upon discharge Enoch returned home and settled in Humboldt County.  He is a proud member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Fortuna and known by many for his involvement in the community.  

His talk is titled : “Honoring the Service and Sacrifices of Our Unsung Heros”

Come and join us in honoring all veterans and their families - with patriotic songs, an Honor Guard, service branch anthems, and a raffle with prizes. Free refreshments will be provided by the Daughters of the American Revolution, who will also be sharing information about the "Wreaths Across America" project: https://www.wreathsacrossamerica.org/
