US Capitol Christmas Tree Whistle Stop
The City of Fortuna & the Fortuna Chamber of Commerce invite the community to a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the tree selected from Six Rivers National Forest before it makes its cross-country trek to Washington, D.C. Fortuna is just one of three Humboldt County locations where the tree will stop.
Attendees can see the tree, sign the banner, and interact with members of the US Forest Service, Woodsy Owl, Choose Outdoors, and local organizations.

TAKE HOME ORNAMENT KITS
Ornament kits featuring a design template and supplies will be provided. Kits will make at least two ornaments. Supplies are limited. Limit one kit per household.

Walk through an interpretive display and grab a goodie bag from the US Forest Service.
Activities are open to the public and free for all to enjoy while following local health guidelines.
