Notification of Public Hearing, Ferndale Sequence of Earthquakes

In coordination with Cal OES the SSC is bringing together state and local leaders and recovery officials, for an important hearing to discuss the Humboldt County Earthquakes which occurred in December of 2022 and January 2023. Getting back to business quickly after a natural disaster is critical to the survival of business and the communities. With California’s “new normal” of severe weather and the ever-present risk of earthquakes, fires, floods and mudslides, mitigation and resiliency are particularly important. We are thankful for all the work that has been done by the many partners and contributors that have been working in this space.
