DESCRIPTION:Lemonade Day is an annual event presented by AEDC and Decade of Difference on the first Saturday of each June. It is a nation-wide event\, presented locally by AEDC Small Business Lending Center and Decade of Difference\, that teaches kids to set goals\, develop a business plan\, establish a budget\, seek investors\, provide customer service and give back to their community.\n\nLemonade Day exists to infuse today's youth with the spirit of enterprise\, teaching the basic business and entrepreneurial skills one-lemonade stand at a time.  Participants will learn to start\, own and operate their very own business using a lemonade stand. We encourage the kids to "save a little\, spend a little and share a little." \n\nThe event sees between 50 and 90 stands each year\, with an annual gross sales of close to $10\,000 each year.
