DESCRIPTION:The Humboldt Math Festival is a grass roots community organization that hosts an annual event to celebrate mathematics. The festival takes place every spring at the Adorni Center in Eureka\,California. Local teachers\, students\, organizations\, professionals and individuals present activities\, demonstrations\, puzzles\, games and contests. The festival also includes a student art exhibit and the Puzzle Exhibit for the Discovery Museum.\n\n\n\nThe goals of HMF are:\n\n- Celebrate the richness of mathematics in a hands-on community event.\n\n- Inform\, illustrate\, instruct\, and inspire students\, parents and community members how mathematics weaves through cultures\, history\, art\, science\, careers and so much more.\n\n- Foster and share an enthusiasm and appreciation of mathematics
