DESCRIPTION:Humboldt County Library and Humboldt Literacy Project invite families to explore Chinese heritage in a playful cultural journey with Kaeshi Chai in a Dragon Dance Family Literacy Party library tour! Participants will have a dragon dance & parade\, embody Zodiac animals\, try tai chi moves\, explore chopsticks\, and hear the tale of the Nian Monster. Each participant will also be able to pick out a free book. This is a free library program.\n\nKaeshi Chai is a bi-coastal dancer\, choreographer\, and educator of Chinese heritage. She has performed worldwide and co-founded projects combining art\, culture\, and healing. Passionate about nature and community\, Kaeshi creates family-friendly performances that inspire curiosity\, connection\, and care for our planet.
